Coconut oil is filled with health benefits that can prove to be extremely effective for all hair types. It penetrates right into your hair follicles and deals with your concerns right from the roots, quite literally.
Now imagine what a powerful mix you could create if you added natural ingredients known to boost hair health to your coconut oil before that weekly champi! Doing so can protect your hair from damage while also healing it, ensuring that your tresses always stay healthy and strong.
Here are three ingredients that you can add to your coconut oil to promote healthy growth of hair:
1. Coconut oil and curry leaves
Just go to your kitchen and grab a handful of curry leaves! As it turns out, this common kitchen ingredient can help your hair grow. Curry leaves have a high content of beta-carotene and proteins that stimulate hair growth.

Grind a tablespoon of kalonji seeds and add them to a bottle of coconut oil. Let the mixture rest for two to three days before using. We suggest you take a small quantity, heat it and massage your scalp with the mixture.
3. Coconut oil and hibiscus flowers
Hibiscus flowers have multifold benefits for your hair. Not only do they induce healthy growth of hair, but they also prevent hair fall and delay hair greying. Take a handful of hibiscus flowers, wash them thoroughly with cold water and let them dry out in the sun. Once dried, heat some coconut oil and carefully add the petals of the hibiscus flower to it. Let the mixture heat on a low flame. Once done, wait for it to cool down. Now, strain the oil and pour it into a bottle. Apply it on your scalp on alternative days and leave it on for at least an hour before you wash your hair.
