..Contract firm, TDT, shun media

Six months down the ladder, the contract workers under the services of Nigerian railway cooperation, have not had access to their wages, victims have revealed.
Speaking to our reporter, the staffs who pleaded anonymity said they were being owned salary since April 2020, despite going to work to perform their duty with feeding and transportation cost.
The staffs who are mostly women and widows, lamented that, TDT Green Innovations, the company managing the contract, only showed their face last month and gave them N10,000 and N3000 each respectively, depending on categories of staffs and left.
Contacted on GSM, the management staff who could not identified himself, gave no reasons for the long delay in non-payment of the salary of this vulnerable Nigerians working under them.
Instead, TDT queried for the rationale for contacting them for clarification when the victims have already informed the media of the development.
The affected staff appealed to the relevant authorities and concern Nigerians to assist for sake of their families and justice especially under the governoment that came into power in the mantra of fighting corruption. We also gathered that this is aside from two months salary cut due to lockdown during COVID-19 pandemic
