Insecurity in Nigeria: Actions of Governors from neighboring states fuel insecurity in Kaduna Says Sen. Uba Sani

The Senator Representing Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Uba Sani has blamed the actions of certain Governors from neighboring States as been responsible for the inability of of his state to defeat the bandits ravaging Kaduna State.

Speaking today at the plenary session at the Senate Floor, Senator Uba Sani explained that Kaduna suffered on daily basis from the attacks of bandits and to that effect, the state engaged the services of the Nigeria Air Force to help defeat the bandits.

He complained that the bandits always find shelter in nearby States after each an attack.

He further stated that while Kaduna State is trying hard to eliminate the threat of these criminals, Governors from nearby States are wining and dinning with the bandits and compensating them with cash rewards.

 further complained that the actions of such States would not help in the fight against insecurity .

Uba Sani further charged the Governors to stop politicising the fight against banditry and terrorism in the North and urged them to come to gether to defeat the wave of banditry unleashed on the States by hoodlums .

It would be recalled that the Governors of Zamfara and Katsina have granted amnesty to criminal  Fulani Herdsmen if they would commit to peace and turn in their weapons.

Similarly , the law maker warned against ethnic profiling of some particular tribe warning that it would do no good.
