World Int’l Women’s Day:WOPIN urges women to make the world a better place

The Women for Peace in Nigeria (WOPIN) said women should sticks to roles ascribed to them by God and make Nigeria and the world a better place to live.

WOPIN also urged women to insist in taken control of their homes from internal and external infiltrators for the good and future of families, society and world at large.

According to the national President of WOPIN, Dr Maryam Abdullahi, derrailing from nature and God giving roles of Women could bringing about lack of peace and harmony in the family, adding that absent of peace in families spell dooms for the larger society.
In a statement issued and made available to journalists on Monday Maryam noted that a large number of young people taking parts in drugs and substance abuse, criminalities and insecurity were due to lack of extensive family cares.

She said the theme of this year’s int’l world women’s day #Choise to Challenge”, is key, appealing to the women folk in Nigeria to used the day to challenge insecurity and COVID-19 by making their children, old and young and their husband morally responsible.
On Women in leadership under COVID-19 pandemic and the security challenges bedeviling the nation, Mrs Abdullahi urged them to make their marks as a shining star and as an examplary leaders in terms of transparency and touching lives. “Every 8th of March is cerebrated as international world women’s day”, She said.
