President Athletics Federation Of Nigeria (AFN), Hon. Ibrahim Shehu Gusau has congratulated Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Nuhu Bamali for attaining one year on throne, describing the reigns of the traditional ruler as fruitful and beneficial to the entire Emirate.
In a press statement, Gusau said Ambassador Bamali was already making positive impacts and delivering on core mandates of ensuring peaceful coexistence, development, cohesion amongst subjects residing within the Zazzau Emirate.
He pointed out that despite security challenge and inherent problems associated with it, the first class emir, he noted had recorded remarkable achievements visible for men with objective minds.
The sports administrator charged subjects and residents of the Emirate to cooperate and support the traditional ruler in his bid to complementing efforts of federal and state governments in their fight against banditry and other forms of criminality within and beyond Zazzau.
” The emir has shown by his actions since he became emir that he is suitable for the job and can be relied upon for implementing and achieving community development policies and goals of the government.
“He’s a great grassroots mobilizer, charismatic leader, stickler to excellence and human development.
“I congratulate the emir, his palace chiefs and the entire people of Zazzau Emirate on this anniversary of marking yet one year of hope, great job and commitment to peace, harmony and selfless service to humanity as exemplified by his Royal Highness, Ambassador Nuhu Bamali.
“On behalf of the athletics community, I wish the people’s emir many fruitful and happy reigns on throne,” Gusau said.
