Governor Nasir Ahmad El Rufai of Kaduna has commended the leadership and members of the National Accountants of Nigeria, ANAN, for contributing positively to the development of Kaduna State and the country .
El Rufai who spoke on Wednesday 26 October, 2021 at the opening ceremony to mark the beginning of 3 days induction seminar for ANAN members, expressed his appreciation and gratitude through his Deputy,Hajiya Hadiza Balarabe Sabuwa
It could be recalled that ANAN held its 5th session of the mandatory continuing profession development (MCPD) program titled “Re-engineering Accounting in the Post Covid Era.”
An elated Governor El Rufai further congratulated ANAN Management for choosing Kaduna as the venue of the seminar .
“We welcome the participants and wish you a successful and fuith MCDP program”, the Governor added.
In his goodwill message, the Commissioner, ministry of business, innovation and technology, Idris Samaila Nyam,said that, the theme of this program is relevant to the current realities in the country.seeing that the devastating impact of covid 19 pandemic is not only limited to the public health, but also apparent in financial sector.
” it’s important therefore to promote conversation and public discourse geared towards helping practitioners respond better, recovered and thrive through that trying time’s.”
While welcoming the guests and ANAN members, the chairman Kaduna branch of ANAN, Mr Musa Duniya Mudu, poured encomiums on Governor Nasir El-rufai for being a loving personality and for providing the much needed assistance to association.
He further described El Rufai as a partner in campaign for the promoting of knowledge and supporting good leadership in the state and Nigeria at large.
“He achieved a lot to mentioned a few; internal generated revenue that has kept the state on top in the nation, young people in leadership, transparency in government. Also encouraged all Accounting staff for both state and local government staff to present ANAN or ICAN professional certificate of some position and promotion. He added.
