..Non Kaduna resident students to find alternative accommodation

As the security situation deteriorated, some Mission Schools including the most concentrated ones operating boarding system have completely shut it down and turned into full fledge day schools in kaduna State.
In girls boarding system, none residents female students wishing to continue with her education in some of the affected mission schools are compelled to squat with foster parents of either school mates, friends or relations in kaduna town.
Our correspondent who monitor the situation reported that school authority in “Our Lady of Fatima Girls Secondary School” located along Kachia road, opposition Ungwan Boro, Chikun LGA, have been trying to beefed up internal security for its students.
According to our reporter, the management also deployed its traffic personnel to guide and direct their students crossing the ever busy Kachia road traffic every morning because of their population.
Appearing on Navy Blue Gown shirts, few of the students who spoke to our reporter in confidence lamented that the school authority did not inform them on when the boarding system will resume. It’s because of the security situation in the state.
“We’re staying with parents of our friends and school mates for now. Some of us who don’t have parents here are also staying with our relations in kaduna”, they said.
All efforts to get in touch with the school management or Christians Association of Nigeria, CAN, Kaduna State Chairman Rev Joseph Hayab to enquire on whether the directive is coming from them or government falled due to logistics and protocol.
It’ll however be recalled that the CAN Chairman kaduna state recently decried the kidnapping of 46 persons a day in same Chikun LGA of the state.
Most residents who spoke to our correspondent on the development commended the intiatives and urged parents to be contented and other boarding schools to adopt same to for the security of children.
According to some of them the insecurity has heightened more than ever before new measures were put in place including the shutting down of telecom services.
