The federal Minister of communication and digital economy of Nigeria, Isa Ali Pantami has charged the Muslim Ummah to prepare for life after death.
The Minister gave the charge during the weekend at the Inauguration ceremony of 2021 to 2023 Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) executive council members in Kaduna state with the theme ‘Role Of Leadership In The Development Of Humanity; Islamic Perspective’.
“Let the leadership of Muslim Ummah know that this life is temporary, let us work for life after this one, let the leadership on their part do the needful. Let us prepare for the life that is permanent”.
Represented by Prof. Suleiman Mohammed, the Minister also said that nothing can be achieve without a good leadership.
The President NASFAT society, Alhaji Olaniyi Yusuf said ” we have achieved a lot in NASFAT, we conduct empowerment and training programs to better the lives of our members “.
According to the President, NASFAT have Zakat agency that distributes the Zakat to the needy members of the society.
He said, “in November we have been distributing 15 million Naira to about 254 Widows nationwide as a way to ease their pains”.
He noted that NASFAT also provide healthcare and educational facilities to the societies to better the lives of Nigerians, he said.
On his part, the Chief Missionary NASFAT Worldwide, Imam Moruf Abdulazeez Onike urged the new executive to discharge their duty with the fear of Allah.
The newly inaugurated executives includes, Alhaji Popoola Gambari Chairman, Vice Chairman, Prof. Abdulrasheed Yusuf, Muhydeen Ahmed Secretary and 13 others.
