An aspirant for Kaduna State House of Assembly, Jamaa constituency 2023, on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Johnson Zaki has purchased 180 Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms for deserving students, as part of efforts to assist indigent students to access tertiary education.
Mr. Zaki, while fielding questions from Journalists, shortly after the presentation of the forms on Wednesday at Unity Wonderland Hotel in Kafanchan, explained that the beneficiaries were drawn across the 12 Wards that made up the Local Government Area.
According to him the gesture was not politically incline but a zeal to see young men furthering their education in order for them to get better in life.
“For now, we’ve secured the forms for 120 students and we’re adding another 60.
” Once they got the Jamb cut of marks we’ll also grant them scholarship to the University level”, he said.
The Marine expert also called on other privilege individual to see the need to key into this kind of project in order to have a sustainable development and a secured environment.
He Added that,”education is the Key for any nation that want to develop or any person that want to develop. We’ll continue in this direction in order to make Jema’a a better place for everybody.
He also urged the beneficiaries of the award to ensure that they utilize the resources for the purpose which it was given to them.
