2023: Bakano declares intention to run for Guber race under PDP

Alhaji Mustapha Othman-Bakano, the former gubernatorial candidate of the African People’s Alliance (APA) had declared his intention to run for 2023 gubernatorial elections under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna.

Othman-Bakano, made the declaration during a press briefing said that he would run an open governance and prioritise on the welfare of the people when elected into office.

He stated that he would tackle insecurity, create massive agricultural projects, improve education, health and establish an integrated data management systems in the state.

“It is very necessary to use technology driven concepts and ideas to identify and manage all threats arising from insecurity at all locations”

“Provision will be made for the establishment of sufficient hectares of land to the people that will be formed into coorperative societies to enhance productivity and hydrophonic processes to alleviate poverty,” he said.

The gubernatorial aspirant added that modern vocational, technical and entrepreneurship institutions would be built in all the three senatorial district to build the skill capacity for the teeming youths, women and adults.

He maintained that a provision would be made for mid pension collection in order to allow individuals opportunity to invest in any legally allowed business by government officials.

Speaking also, on health, Othman-Bakano stressed that he would ensure compulsory and affordable health insurance for all residents and would ensure the development of state owned facilities. noted that Kaduna State would be the first state to launch the Land Field Gas project (LNG) in large scale, thereby, making cooking gas available and affordable under his watch.

Bakano further added that traditional rulers would be assigned roles by leveraging on Federal Government security formation to ensure peace in the state. Adding to use his experience and knowledge on Public Private Partnership (PPP) to build houses for members of the public to buy or rent at an affordable rate.

The aspirant added that biometric system would be establish to capture all citizens, investment or businesses and business owners, employed, unemployed, persons living with disability among others.
