Parish Secretary of Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria Lady Stella Okolocha (KSM) has called on women to protect the interest of other women especially in their trying moments. She made this call in the parish during a pre-mothering Sunday program which was organized for members of parish Catholic Women Organization (CWO) on Saturday, 16th April 2022.
Lady Okolocha lamented that some women aggravate the plights of their folks and cautioned against such practices especially as it relates to their relationships with their daughters-in-law.
Evang. Mrs. Addai
“Women, at times we are our own problems.” The scribe highlighted. “For those of us who are mothers-in-law or who will be mothers-in-law, remember that these girls and boys are coming from different backgrounds. Let us discourage our sons from beating their sisters or they will definitely beat their wives. Don’t make them feel like demigods in the house. Make your children work in turn, so that when the boys marry and their wives become pregnant or weak, they will cook and help out in the house.”

She further kicked against a life of compromise urging them to back their words with corresponding actions and to opt for the truth but calling erring mothers to order or share in their sins.
