“We are here for a special function.”  Bishop Kundi oriented. “We are here to thank God for the gift of the day and for what He has blessed us with. Yes, we know who our God is and we continue to expect more from Him because His Presence and love abide with us now and forever. Let us pray that all that we are about to do will have the blessings of God and that He will give us the opportunity to do that.”

“I saw the beginnings which were very tough and you can imagine how fulfilled I am to be part of what we are celebrating today. What the Church is doing here is very clear. We are not just partnering with the government or the community here in Zaria, but we are taking the Gospel to another level. Zaria Diocese is out, courageously in faith with your meager resources to give food o the people and we are very happy to have this.”

“I say congratulations to you as a diocese and particularly to Fr. Michael Kagarko for a special job well done. To you Fr. Kagarko and for the Catholic Diocese of Zaria, today is a dream come true. This calls for a special thanksgiving. It is a day you should look forward and reflect on your humble beginnings. With all the distractions and hostilities you have been encountering, you never gave up. This tells us how this project means a lot to you – you see it more as a vocation. What you are doing here today wins the admiration of all. It all takes teamwork, courage and a double and pious ambition which the director has expressed for more than twenty years now. You have my blessings and be rest assured that we will support again where possible.”
