..1st S/Kaduna to attain senate principal officer

The Senate President Federal Republic of Nigeria Ahmed Lawan has confirmed the appointment of the senator representing Kaduna South Danjuma La’ah as the Senate minority Deputy whip in the red chamber.
Senator Danjuma La’ah is to replace the vacant position of the former minority Deputy whip, Senator Ibrahim Dambata representing (Sokoto South) who recently decamped to the ruling APC to contest for the governorship seat of the Sokoto State.
It is on record that senator Danjuma La’ah is the first Senate principal officer from Southern Kaduna in the history of Democracy in Nigeria.
A cross-section of Southern Kaduna Interviewed with other residents, are of the views that the distinguished senator La’ah should be given another opportunity to represent the people of Kaduna South in the red chamber with hoping that he could become the future Minority whip, Minority Leader, Senate Majority Leader, Deputy Senate President if not the Senate President Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The residents appealed to delegates and general voters in Kaduna South to throw their support to the deputy minority whip for the socio-political development of the region.
La’ah is the first second term jinx breaker in the history of the Southern Kaduna senatorial race and the first to attain principal office in the senate.
