A frontline candidate for the office of National Welfare Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association and a Kaduna based Legal Practitioner has extended warm greetings to his kinsmen across the Niger as the Eastern Bar Forum holds its 2022 First Quarterly Bar Meeting.
He expressed this in a message he personally signed, dated Friday June 3, 2022.
According to him, the meeting is timely and would contribute in no little measure to moving the NIgeria Bar Association (NBA) forward.

SIR BEN CHURCHILL ANIEKWENA, SENDS GOODWILL MESSAGE TO EASTERN BAR FORUM ON ITS 2022 FIRST QUARTERLY MEETING.
My beloved and blood Learned brothers from the Eastern Bar Forum, I greet you all from the Northern Sahara, where I was born, live, schooled and have been practising since I was admitted into the Nigerian Bar.
I am fully aware of the slated and current ongoing Quarterly meeting of the forum which has my brothers and sisters colleagues in attendance.
I had actually intended to feature at this meeting as I hold dear to my heart, anything that has to do with lawyers of Igbo extraction particularly and the East generally. However, I am unable to, because of the current security challenges bedeviling our dear nation, particularly Kaduna State , the historic land of my birth and most painfully, the Eastern part of country where I hail from.
I must for sure, let you know that each day, we sleep with our eyes open in fear. Going out or traveling out of our dear state becomes a risk you must weigh either to undertake or not, for your own sake and that of your family, friends and other loved ones.
I must tell you, I am with you all in love, spirit and fraternal brotherhood which we share as biological kinsmen.
As you gather today to discuss and take wise decisions geared towards moving our Nigerian Bar forward, particularly as it concerns our geographical classification (Eastern Bar Forum), I pray our Almighty Father in heaven admits our supplications and purposeful decisions as may be reached in this meeting.
I thank our elders and the great leaders of this forum for seeing their son’s aspiration in serving our nation’s Bar Association and for giving me the opportunity to offer this message from a far distance .
I congratulate everyone attending this programme. You are all dear to my heart and I wish you all journey mercies back to your destinations.
Jidenu ka unu ji, oga emesia di nma.
Thank you all and God bless us.
Sir Ben Churchill Aniekwena Esq, Ksji, Jp.
YOUR CANDIDATE FOR THE OFFICE OF NATIONAL WELFARE SECRETARY.
