A Post Children’s Day celebration was organized by St Andrew’s Catholic Police Chaplaincy, MTD Zaria on Sunday, 12th June, 2022 when the Chaplain, Rev Fr SP Paul Ogbo called on the children to contribute positively to the growth of their families, the Church and the society.
At the event which featured recitation of memories verses, display of cultural dances among others, the priests observed that many children respond to other activities more than spiritual ones, nudging them to strike a balance in life.

“Be responsible children in the society.” He charged them. “Be serious with our spiritual activities. Some of you don’t take part in the Thirteenth Congress. Join the Block Rosary and participate in the activities of the Block Rosary and other activities. If you make effort God will double it.”

The Chairperson of the Council, Dr. Benedine Akpu equally tasked them on involvement in Church activities, assuring them of the love that the Church has for them. “Jesus loves you and we love you too. Obey your parents and the Church. Do not forget to say your prayers always.”
