India National Cricket Team all-rounder Hardik Pandya’s future has become one of the biggest talking points in Indian cricket. Now, a fresh report suggests that Hardik Pandya is all set to become the Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) captain ahead of the upcoming IPL 2027.
Hardik Pandya to captain KKR in IPL 2027?
Earlier, many reports claimed that Chennai Super Kings (CSK) could trade Hardik from Mumbai Indians (MI). It was said that Mumbai Indians asked for Shivam Dube and young batter Ayush Mhatre in return. Another rumour claimed CSK instead offered Shivam Dube, Dewald Brevis and ₹10 crore.
But the deal couldn’t materialize. Now, a Revsportz journalist, Rohit Juglan, shared that the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have all but roped in Hardik Pandya as their captain ahead of IPL 2027. However, the official announcement has not yet been made by KKR.
