Vishal Chaturvedi’s story is based on real-life incidents in the life of Neeb Karori Baba. Since he has a following mainly in Uttar Pradesh, the story is not universally appealing. Even otherwise, Chaturvedi’s story has its limitations. Vishal Chaturvedi’s screenplay is fair but it does get boring at times because it moves on a single track. Chaturvedi’s dialogues are impressive.On the whole, Hanuman Ansh may be a fairly well-made film but there won’t be too many takers for the story because Baba Neeb Karori Maharaj was popular only among a section of the Indian public. Also, another film on the life and teachings of Babaji, Shree Baba Neeb Karori Maharaj, was released in May this year.
