Noted journalist Jijo John Puthezhath, Special Correspondent at Malayala Manorama Kochi unit, died due to cardiac arrest in Kochi on Wednesday. He was 52.
He was the recipient of the 2015 Ramnath Goenka Award for excellence in journalism.
He is survived by his wife, Ramya Joseph, a teacher at Sarva Shiksha Kerala in Kochi, and children Ananya Jijo and Johan Joseph John.
