India’s women’s hockey team will play Indonesia in its second Pool B match

India will look to add to its medal tally on Day 2, of the Asian Games 2026 on Monday, with shooting, mixed martial arts, hockey, kabaddi and table tennis among the key events on the schedule.After winning two silver medals in shooting on the opening day, India will have another chance to reach the podium in the men’s 10m air rifle event. Himanshu Dhillon, Parth Mane and Rudrankksh Patil will compete in the qualification round and the team final. The individual final is scheduled for 9 am IST, subject to qualification.In mixed martial arts, Suchika Tariyal will fight Singapore’s Teo Hui Hoon in the women’s traditional 60kg semifinal at 8am IST. Having already assured herself of at least a bronze medal by reaching the semifinals, Suchika will now aim to secure a place in the final.India’s women’s hockey team will play Indonesia in its second Pool B match after opening the tournament with a 19-0 victory over Uzbekistan.The men’s and women’s kabaddi teams will also begin their campaigns on Monday.In table tennis, India’s men’s and women’s teams are scheduled to play two matches each against Pakistan.Here’s a look at India’s schedule for Day 2 at Asian Games 2026 [timings in Indian Standard Time (IST)
