Former Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav has made a huge real estate investment that caught attention. Indian batter buys luxury property in Dubai, shares a glimpse of his new investment on Instagram with wife Devisha Shetty.
Interestingly, the property is part of Shahrukhz Residences, a project associated with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who also owns the IPL franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Earlier, Yuzvendra Chahal revealed why Rohit Sharma left him out of India’s 2023 World Cup squad.

Suryakumar Yadav has bought a luxury property at Shahrukhz Residences, which shows his interest in luxury living, comfort and modern wellness facilities. The former Indian captain recalled his connection with Dubai. It was 2014 when the Mumbai Indians (MI) batter first visited for the IPL.
The Mumbai Indians star also spoke about what makes Dubai attractive to him. He appreciates its lifestyle, safety, and the relaxed feeling he gets whenever he visits. Although he considers Mumbai safe as well, Dubai offers a different kind of comfort and quality of life in his view.
Suryakumar said in his Instagram video, “I first came to Dubai in 2014 to play in the IPL. Then we came in 2020. Now you can see that all of India is coming to Dubai. Luxury and the quality of life are different. Safety is there in India as well, where I live in Mumbai. But safety in Dubai is good too. It feels very relaxed, and I feel very happy when I come here.”

However, the biggest attraction was not just Dubai’s lifestyle. Suryakumar was especially interested when he learned that a residential project associated with the Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan was being developed.
The building’s interiors, overall quality, long-term value, and wellness center helped convince him to go ahead with the purchase. Amid this, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s reaction goes viral when PM Narendra Modi says ‘whose age was only 15 to 17…’.
The stylish right-hander further added, “There was no second thought when I heard that a building by Shah Rukh Sir was being built here. The main thing is the interior work and the quality. The most important thing is the longevity and wellness center.”

The property video highlighted facilities such as hyperbaric treatment, red light therapy, and cryotherapy. These features appear to be a major part of the project’s focus on health and wellness.
Suryakumar was also impressed by a system that reportedly provides information about different body health levels, including blood sugar, without a blood test. However, this is a promotional claim and should not be treated as a replacement for proper medical testing.
The former Indian captain added, “I saw one more thing: without a blood test, you get to know all the levels of the body—blood sugar, A to Z, whatever it is. This is too good.”
Suryakumar Yadav’s property investments make headlines
The Dubai property is not the only major real estate investment by Suryakumar. According to a Moneycontrol report, Devisha Shetty purchased an apartment worth Rs 7.18 crore in Mumbai’s Chembur area earlier this year.
The 1,516.20-square-foot apartment is located in Godrej Sky Terraces. The report also stated that it was the couple’s third apartment purchase in the same building.
