Rang De Basanti recently turned 20. To commemorate the special milestone, the cast of the movie came together for a screening in Mumbai. Aamir Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Siddharth, Kunal Kapoor, Atul Kulkarni and more wore matching sweatshirts with the film’s name written on them.
They posed for the paparazzi at the event and interacted with their fans. For those unaware, the movie had released on January 26, 2006. It was primarily filmed in New Delhi. Upon release, Rang De Basanti had broken major Box Office records of the time. It is written, produced and directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
About Rang De Basanti
It centres on a British film student who journeys to India to chronicle the lives of five revolutionaries from the freedom movement. As she befriends and casts five young men for her project, the stories begin to blur with reality, ultimately stirring them to stand up against the injustices of their own contemporary government.
