Radhikaa Sarathkumar’s ‘Thaai Kizhavi’ continues its solid box office journey as the film crossed Rs 21 crore within six days of release. The rural drama performed well across its first weekend and showed stable weekday numbers. According to early estimates from Sacnilk website the film earned around Rs 2.10 crore India net on its sixth day and this brings the total to an impressive Rs 21.45 crore.Thaai Kizhavi Mini Review The film opened at Rs 2.65 crore on Friday and it saw major growth over the weekend with Rs 5 crore on Saturday and Rs 6.15 crore on Sunday. ‘Thaai Kizhavi’ recorded an overall Tamil occupancy of 21.87 percent on the last day. The morning shows saw a 16.03 percent turnout and the afternoon shows touched 22.21 percent. The evening and night shows registered 24.62 percent occupancy and the stable occupancy across show timings suggests that the film continues to attract viewers beyond its initial fan base.

The film which is directed by Sivakumar Murugesan and is set in Kadupatti village, Usilampatti, follows Pavunuthaayi who is a tough moneylender lying on her deathbed.
