In a strongly worded statement, the IRGC cautioned that invading forces would face overwhelming resistance, saying, “Don’t send your children to hell with the deceit of Netanyahu and Trump. The invading soldiers will be deeply drowned and disappear in the million-strong sea of the Iranian nation,” as quoted by ANI.
The statement also directly addressed the American public, accusing leaders like Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu of misleading citizens about the realities of the conflict. “The truth of the war you must observe at American gas stations, on the streets of Iran, and in the skies of Tel Aviv and Haifa,” it said, pointing to both economic and military consequences of the ongoing war.
Amid rising tensions, reports indicate that the Pentagon may deploy elements of the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East. According to a CBS report, the planned deployment could include a command component and ground forces, with a possible operation targeting Iran’s Kharg Island under consideration. Such a move would mark a significant escalation, potentially opening a new front in the conflict.
The IRGC also claimed intensified offensive operations, stating that precision-guided missiles, including Emad, Qiam, Khorramshahr-4 and Qadr, struck more than 70 locations across Israel as part of the “81st wave” of Operation True Promise 4.
According to its public relations department, targets included areas in Haifa, Dimona and regions around Tel Aviv. It further claimed that over 700 missiles and 3,600 drones have been launched at US and Israeli targets since the war began, while Iranian air defences have intercepted more than 200 incoming threats.
