Doorstep services, 48-hour verification: GBA’s GSKs aim to transform civic services access

A key feature of the GBA Guarantee Seva Kendras (GSK) is doorstep service delivery, in which the citizens will have the option to avail themselves of services from home. When requested, trained personnel called ‘Seva Mitras’ will visit residences to assist with applications, verification, and documentation. 

Seva Mitras will be equipped with tablets, identification, and connectivity tools and will operate between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Further, they will also extend services that require field verifications, such as property-related applications, and will carry out on-ground inspections.
