The TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, match no.15, was between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). LSG beat KKR by 3 wickets. Rishabh Pant won the toss and elected to field first, LSG were unchanged, and KKR made one change with Sunil Narine coming in place of Blessing Muzarabani.
Mohammed Shami had a brilliant start, swinging the ball and troubling Finn Allen and Ajinkya Rahane, which cost a wicket in the second over as the former was dismissed on the score of 9 runs. However, the catch was a controversial one as it was seen that Rathi’s feet touched the toblerone slightly. After the first wicket, Rahane and Angkrish Raghuvasnhi took over the charge.
IPL 2026: KKR vs LSG Match Result
The KKR skipper was back in the dugout with the score of 41 off 24 balls and put the Knights in the driver’s seat, as they were 102/2 in 11 overs. With Raghuvanshi falling in the very next over for the score of 45 runs. Later on, Rinku Singh was back after being bowled by Avesh Khan as LSG came back in the match.

Cameron Green and Rovman Powell tried to increase the strike rate, and the latter took charge and smacked the boundaries in the later stages of the game. Green joined the party as well. Powell and Green were unbeaten, with scores of 39 and 32, respectively.
KKR scored 181/4 in their 20 overs on a wicket that looked good for the bowlers, but the Knights will be feeling they were some runs short with the kind of start they got. Green and Powell stitched a partnership of 70 runs for the fifth wicket.
Coming out to chase LSG openers Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram were off to a good start. However, both were sent back to the pavilion by Vaibhav Arora in the same over. LSG are now 72/2, and Rishabh Pant and Ayush Badoni are at the crease. Though the former was back in the pavilion after scoring just 10 runs, as Cam Green picked his first wicket for KKR.
KKR turned the game back in the middle overs, as they pulled down the runs of LSG and put them under pressure, and it brought the wicket of the dangerous Nicholas Pooran for the score 13 runs as LSG were down to 95/4.
Badoni had other choices as he scored a fifty off 54 off 33 balls and was dismissed the very next ball. However, Mukul Choudhary had other plans, as he scored 54 off 26 balls, and LSG went off the line in the final ball of the second over as LSG chased down 182.
