Vice-President highlights Nari Shakti as women dominate at convocation

Women students stole the spotlight at the 10th convocation of the Central University of Karnataka with 20 out of the 22 gold medals going to them prompting Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan to underline the growing prominence of Nari Shakti in academic excellence across the country.

Delivering the convocation address on university campus near Kadaganchi in Kalaburagi on Wednesday, Mr. Radhakrishnan said that in the many convocations he attended nation-wide, women consistently accounted for a majority of medal winners and Central University is no exception.
