PBKS opener Prabhsimran Singh has caused a brain fade in the Delhi Capitals dugout after they received some hammering from both the openers, who were two men coming out with a mission.
After some staggering batting shows from the Delhi Capitals batters, the Punjab Kings openers have truly given it back to the DC bowlers in the powerplay itself. After the start, the way KL Rahul and Nitish Rana managed to put on 160+ runs in the last ten overs, the Kings’ batters have scored at a run rate of over 19 within the powerplay.
Prabhsimran Singh destroys Mukesh Kumar with six fours in an over
The Punjab Kings opener Prabhsimran Singh did the trick for the Kings alongside Priyansh Arya as they added 116 runs in the powerplay. After a solid start to the innings, Natarajan bowled a perfect 5th over and restrained the hitting spree.
Mukesh Kumar returned to bowl the final over of the powerplay, and Prabhsimran unleashed his beast mode, taking him for 24 runs off the final over. He hit six different shots against the pacer and did not think twice while countering his pace or swing.
This will be the first time that any Indian batter has managed to hit seven fours on the trot, as he continued his onslaught in the next over as well, hitting Axar Patel for another boundary off the seventh ball he faced.
