The resolution of issues related to internal reservation among Scheduled Castes has cleared the way for the recruitment of about 8,000 police personnel that was hitherto put on hold, Home Minister G. Parameshwara said on Tuesday.
He was speaking after receiving a ceremonial salute at a passing-out parade of probationers at the Police Training College in Naganahalli on the outskirts of Kalaburagi.
