Mumbai Indians, the five-time title-winning team in the IPL, have failed to put on a promising show this season and are on the verge of elimination from this edition of the IPL. Currently placed ninth on the points table, they have just managed to win three out of their ten matches in the season.
Rohit Sharma has had a promising record for the Mumbai Indians, as he was the captain of the side when they won five titles in the IPL. He has also amassed over 6000+ runs alone in the Mumbai Indians shirt.

Rohit Sharma is undoubtedly one of the most followed and highly renowned cricketers in India, and his popularity, especially in Mumbai, is second to none. Several fans would go crazy at just one glimpse of him.
One such fan met Rohit Sharma during his advancement to the team bus while he was leaving the team hotel. A fan got super excited and immediately turned to the Indian skipper to click a picture with the former MI captain.
She immediately pulled out her mobile with the desire to click a selfie with the former Indian captain. “Aap best ho (You are the best),” she said while taking a selfie with the Mumbai Indians batter.
However, the selfie moment soon turned bizarre as the fangirl failed to take a picture with Rohit Sharma as her phone’s battery went dead, and she started complaining, saying, “Mera phone off ho gaya (My mobile phone switched off).”

However, the women kept calling out to Rohit from behind, which irked Rohit, who turned and replied with a gust of disgust. He said, Toh abhi main kya karu phir? (What should I do then).”
She then quickly got a phone call from someone else and immediately ran to Rohit to click a selfie with the cricketer. This was when Rohit asked her to hurry up, and the female fan also repeatedly said “please” and “sorry” while finally managing to click that selfie with the MI star.

Rohit‘s promising form for the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2026
Rohit Sharma played in the first four matches of the season for the Mumbai Indians. He played some promising knocks against the likes of Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals before being ruled out midway through the game against RCB at their home ground at the Wankhede Stadium.
He then missed out on five matches with a hamstring injury and made his return in the last game. However, it never looked like he had left that game, as Rohit Shamra played a spectacular knock of 84 runs off just 44 balls. Rohit smashed seven sixes in that innings.
