To facilitate devotees attending the annual feast of St. Antony’s Basilica, South Western Railway has sanctioned a temporary one-minute stoppage for four express trains at Dornahalli Halt station from June 11 to 14.
According to a press release, Train No. 16225 Mysuru–Shivamogga Town Express will arrive at Dornahalli Halt at 10.42 a.m. and depart at 10.43 a.m. Similarly, Train No. 16226 Shivamogga Town–Mysuru Express will arrive at 3.50 p.m. and leave at 3.51 p.m.
Train No. 16222 Mysuru–Talguppa Express will halt at the station from 2.35 p.m. to 2.36 p.m., while Train No. 16221 Talguppa–Mysuru Express will stop from 1.57 p.m. to 1.58 p.m.
The temporary stoppages have been introduced to provide rail connectivity for pilgrims visiting St. Antony’s Basilica.
