Apple has released the first beta version of iOS 26.4 for iPhone. While we initially EXPECTED iOS 26.4 to include improved Siri, it sounds like we won’t see those changes yet.
What we do know is that Apple signed a deal with Google in January to use Gemini AI technology to power some of the upcoming Siri enhancements that Apple has been developing for two years. While the promised features have been public for a while, the green light to use Gemini is relatively new.
iOS 26.4 beta 1 follows the official release of iOS 26.3, which was particularly light on features and changes.
The update added an easier way for it go through between Android and iPhone, changes in Astronomy and Weather wallpaper galleryand a new feature for iPhones and iPads with Apple C1 and C1X modems for limiting the exact location using the mobile with selected service providers.
Stay tuned as we update our devices with Apple’s first developer beta of iOS 26.4. We will report on any changes we discover.
