Charging that the BJP-led Union government’s wrong decisions have led to a shortage of LPG cylinders in the country, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin on Sunday (March 15, 2026) said the Union Government should come forward to resolve the issue.
In a social media post, Mr. Stalin alleged the shortage of gas cylinders was due to the “wrong decisions” of the BJP-led Union government, which, according to him, had earned a reputation of being a “failure model” in the country’s foreign policy.
“There is no vision. There have been no precautionary measures. The people are facing hardships due to them,” Mr. Stalin charged. The DMK president pointed out the political parties in the Secular Progressive Alliance have staged demonstrations in this regard on Sunday.
“The Union government should realise the anger of the people and come forward to resolve the issue,” Mr. Stalin said.
