The Valentine’s Day weekend brought mixed fortunes at the box office, with O’Romeo witnessing a noticeable jump after its opening day, while Tu Yaa Main continued to face a tough run in cinemas. Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri’s romantic drama benefitted from the festive Saturday, showing healthy growth in collections and occupancy across key cities like Mumbai and Pune. In contrast, the Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor starrer struggled to build momentum despite a slight day-two rise. This reflected a clear divide in audience reception over the first three days.

As per Sacnilk’s estimates, O’Romeo has earned Rs 9 crores in India on its first day. The collection for India stands at Rs 21.15 crores. On its release day, it had earned Rs 8.5 crores. The first Saturday, i.e., Valentine’s Day, saw the movie earning around Rs 12.65 crores.
The movie had an overall 18.96 percent Hindi occupancy on its first day at the Box Office. The morning shows had an occupancy of 8.76 percent, while the afternoon shows stood at 25 percent. The evening shows stood at 23.42 percent and the night shows had an occupancy of 18.66 percent. Interestingly, Mumbai saw an occupancy of 21.25 percent, while Pune was at 20.50 percent and Hyderabad at 15.25 percent.
As for the lead stars, Shahid Kapoor’s top grossing movie is Padmaavat. It has collected Rs 302.15 at the box office. His other top grosser, Kabir Singh, collected Rs 278.8 crores overall. Triptii Dimri’s highest grosser is Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which stands at Rs 260.11 crores at the box office.
Tu Yaa Main had witnessed a disappointing start at the box office. The Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor starrer had earned only Rs 55 lakhs on its release day, as per Sacnilk’s estimates. On day two, it earned 1.45 crores. On the third day, Tu Yaa Main earned Rs 0.8 crores. The total stands at Rs 2.85 crores. The worldwide collection stands at Rs 3.35 crores.
The movie had an overall 13.36 percent Hindi occupancy on its first day. The morning shows had an occupancy of 5.05 percent, while the afternoon shows stood at 14.85 percent. The evening shows stood at 20.48 percent and the night shows had an occupancy of 13.07 percent. Interestingly, Mumbai saw an occupancy of 17.50 percent, while Delhi NCR was at 9.75 percent.

This is Shanaya Kapoor’s second film. Her first film was Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan with Vikrant Massey. It had earned Rs 1.77 crores at the box office. As for Adarsh Gourav, his highest grosser is Superboys of Malegaon, which stands at Rs 5.32 crores.
