Charan Kaur and Balkaur Singh, the parents of Sidhu Moose Wala, are currently navigating a poignant mix of sorrow and renewal. Kaur finds comfort in the cherished memories of her son, lovingly referred to as ‘Gaggu,’ while Singh relies on their newborn son’s presence—an ‘angelic blessing’ that symbolizes a brighter future and the everlasting essence of their late child.

Sidhu Moose Wala’s parents are opening a window into their life between heartbreak and hope. Their words connect the memory of a son lost to violence with the joy brought by a newborn child. In interviews and public messages, Charan Kaur returns to the boy she raised, while Balkaur Singh reflects on faith, survival, and the strength to keep going as a family.

Mother remembers Sidhu Moose Wala

According to Scroll.in, Charan Kaur still speaks to her son as if he were within reach. “He may be Sidhu Moosewala to the world, but to me, he will always be Gaggu. That’s what I called him when I held him for the first time,” she said. She remembered how people reacted to his voice when he was young. “His voice sounded so sweet. Of course, a child’s voice always sounds sweet to its mother but everyone who heard him speaking and singing compared him to the forgotten melons which once grew in abundance in Moosa. They told me his name and fame would spread far and wide like the sarda’s fragrance.”
