All said and done, this year, after the pandemic, we are blessed with some great movies, both in Hindi and regional languages. Happy to see that the Bollywood industry proved once again that it can survive any amount of pressure like a bad pandemic and yet come back with a bang. Some of the leading actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Ranvir Singh showed they are such fine actors that they will rule as the next mega-stars of this industry.

As far as music is considered Arijit Singh and his immense musical talent are rising to a legendary status this year. His musicality and voice are establishing a clear stamp in this music industry. The other notable singer is Mohan Kannan, whose one single song this year shows enormous promises for his continued presence. Sonu Nigam came back this year after a long break from his signature solos an amazingly perfect song that is a pleasure to listen to for years to come. Aditya Narayan made many remarkable songs in the past, yet he was under the shadow of enormously talented dad Udit, have a single this year that makes his presence.

Among women singers Neeti Mohan, Asees Kaur and Tulsi Kumar (Gulshan Kumars’ daughter) are the most prominent voices this year. Jonitha Gandhi had many hits mostly in regional language (Tamil ) and yet her success in singing all those difficult songs is to be noticed. Asees Kaur is an amazing talent who survived the intense competition. The music made in recent times is promising and thriving with many good lyric songs and many young singers.
