Hassan Police have registered a case in connection with the mismatch of funds to the tune of ₹3.4 crore meant to be deposited in the ATMs of the city.

Raju, branch manager of Cash Management Services in Hassan, has filed a complaint with Hassan Extension Police alleging that ₹3.4 crore meant to be deposited in the ATM kiosks was not deposited. This came to light during the audit of cash transit. He had named Nandish and Madhu Kumar, who worked for the firm, as accused in the case.

Shubhanwita, SP of Hassan, told the media that the police had registered the case and had begun the investigation. “The complainant has suspected the role of two people in the case and suggested mismanagement while replenishing cash in 15 ATMs. We will verify the documents, CCTV footage and other relevant data during the investigation,” she stated.
