Deputy Commissioner Shreerupa said five experienced subject teachers have been appointed for each subject to provide guidance through the helpline. Students can contact the designated teachers over the phone for support in exam preparation, clarification of lessons, doubt resolution and general guidance.
For Kannada, students may contact teachers Mahendra (8549854524), Doreswamy (8431091573), Mallesh (9620844189), Rangegowda (9740976881) and Shivakumar Swamy (9886710104). For English, the teachers available are Nagesh (9902039478), Mahadeva Swamy (7892736494), Lingayya (8660805445), Mahadeva Swamy (9611106697) and Suresh (9964374324). For Hindi, students can reach Renuka (9980759268), Shivanna H. (9449923403), Mahadev (9986564879), Chikkaraju (9900260930) and Lakshmi (9731030103).
For Mathematics, the teachers are Basavalingappa (8618218343), Lokesh D.P. (9901672083), Chandrashekariah (9591824317), Nagashilpa (9913777015) and Murugesh (9916777035). For Science, students may contact Hemachandra (6363165050), Narayan (9449361320), Madhusudhan (9902061787), Manjula (8722963262) and Asha (9880272117). For Social Science, the teachers are Manjunath Swamy (9480366979), Raghavendra (9980314542), Shivaraj (9844089563), Rajamma (7619425965) and Shailaja (7338411983).
Taluk-wise nodal officers have also been appointed. Parashivamurthy (9844240296) has been designated for Chamarajanagar taluk, Ramesh R. (9986463714) for Gundlupet taluk, Ashok (9916749180) for Hanur taluk, Vijay Kumar (9986601816) for Kollegal taluk and Kumar M. (7892424019) for Yelandur taluk, according to a press release.
Students can call the helpline teachers for any required information or clarification. “The district administration stands with the students to ensure good results, and the helpline is expected to help them prepare for the examination with confidence and clear goals,” the Deputy Commissioner said in the release.
After reviewing last year’s SSLC and PUC examination results, District In-charge Secretary Vinoth Priya on Thursday directed officials to ensure that students pass with high marks this year and bring better results to the district.
She was presiding over a meeting of district officials of various departments in Chamarajanagar.
She emphasised the need to provide proper guidance to students to improve the results and stated that 100 percent enrolment in schools must be ensured. If student attendance declines, officials should meet the parents concerned, bring the children back to school, and encourage them to attend regularly, she instructed.
