Air Force 14, Navy 9

Falcon Stadium

The Falcons prevailed over the Midshipmen 14-9 Saturday at home in Colorado Springs. AFA’s Liam Szarka rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns. Blake Fletcher paced Air Force with 10 stops, and Alexander Perez recovered a fumble. Matthew Seliga led Navy with 12 tackles. AFA outgained Navy in total yards 270-253.

Wake Forest 57, Stanford 3

Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium

The Demon Deacons shellacked the Cardinal 57-3 Saturday at home in Winston-Salem. Wake’s Giovanni Lopez threw for 265 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for 88 yards and three TDs. Davaughn Patterson paced Wake Forest with 10 stops, and Dallas Afalava pulled down an interception. Jaivion Green led The Tree with 11 tackles. The Demon Deacons defense sacked The Tree’s quarterback four times. Wake was efficient on offense with a 62.1% success rate on plays. It was a dominant performance by the Demon Deacons from start to finish.

New Mexico State 34, Western Kentucky 13

Aggie Memorial Stadium

The Aggies trounced the Hilltoppers 34-13 Thursday at home in Las Cruces. WKU’s Rodney Tisdale Jr. passed for 314 yards. NMSU’s James Jones rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown. Karl Campbell kicked two field goals for Western Kentucky. Nicolas Sessions paced the Aggies with 10 stops, and De’Marcus Peters hauled in a pick and returned it 45 yards for a touchdown. Jaylen Lewis led the Hilltoppers with nine tackles. The Aggies defense sacked WKU’s quarterback six times. NMSU generated more explosive plays than WKU with an explosiveness rating of 1.63.
