Officials have begun preparations for Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s two-day tour of his constituency, Kuppam, on September 21 and 22.
As part of the Advanced Security Liaison, district Collector Sumit Kumar and Superintendent of Police Tushar Dudi on Sunday inspected the venues where the Chief Minister was scheduled to participate.
They visited the Handri-Neeva Sujala Sravanthi canal Jalaharathi site at Gundisettipalli in Santhipuram mandal, Rythu Bazar foundation site, the public meeting ground at Kottapeta, Kuppam railway station and the cadre meeting venue at Kadapalli.
During the tour, the Chief Minister will inaugurate development works worth ₹289.5 crore, lay the foundation for projects worth ₹38.5 crore, interact with beneficiaries, visit the Swarna Kuppam achievements gallery and hold a review on national highway projects. He will also review the arrangements for the additional halt of the Dadar-Puducherry Express at Kuppam. railway station
The Collector directed the officials to put up sturdy barricades at the Jalaharathi venue, public meeting ground and railway station and ensure foolproof arrangements. Mr. Tushar Doodi insisted on smooth traffic management.
