The Central Crime Branch’s (CCB) Organised Crime Wing (East Division) and Narcotics Control Squad have booked 19 people for allegedly indulging in riding wheelies, triple riding, riding without number plates and creating public nuisance by consuming alcohol.

The CCB teams have been conducting regular night patrols across the city as part of efforts to prevent activities that disturb public order and cause inconvenience to residents.

During the patrols, the teams identified 19 individuals allegedly involved in various violations, including midnight wheelies, triple riding, riding vehicles without number plates and consuming alcohol in public places.

The CCB said night patrols would continue and warned that strict action would be taken against activities that cause public nuisance or pose a threat to peace and order in the city and against repeat offenders.
