AUMKAARA ONLINE – CONTEST RULES & REGULATIONS
Aumkaara – is Kerala’s biggest online music contest hosted by AUM – Academy of Universal
Music (Apple Authorised Training Provider, Thrissur, Kerala)
CONTEST CATEGORIES
Aumkaara is an online music contest targeted at finding talents globally in three music
domains:
● Vocals – solo singing
● Non percussive instruments
● Percussive instruments
AGE GROUPS
In all the above categories there will be three age groups:
● Junior – 4 to 15 years
● Senior – 16 to 30 years
● Super Senior – 31 & above years
AUDITIONS & REGISTRATION:
The contestants are requested to send a video clip of their performances of less than 5 minutes
duration to

AUDITION VIDEO FORMATS
● It needs to be shot in Mobile phones or professional Camera in a Single take
● The contestant can sing/perform their video with or without karaoke tracks
EXCLUSIONS
Important: post-produced versions from the studio, pitch-corrected audio tracks,
professionally shot Music covers will not be entertained.

REGISTRATION FEES
There will be a Registration fee of Eight hundred and Eighty-five 885 rupees (750 Fees + 135 GST (18 %))+ towards the same

● The Registration fee payment transaction details to be mentioned in the Mail /
WhatsApp along with Audition videos.
● A document which proves your age needs to be sent along with your email for
registration.
● The contestant will receive an acknowledgment mail for Registration within 7 days from
date of fee payment.
SONGS / PERFORMANCE FORMAT FOR AUDITIONS
The Audition clip for The Three Contest categories can be in any Genre, Language, Style,
without any restrictions.
The audition is a personal favorite /Free Style round

AUDITION DATES

AUDITION RESULT & GRAND FINALE
The Jury will declare the results from the Audition Videos, and the date and format of the
Grand Finale on May 30, 2020.
PRIZES
● There will be net prize money worth 10 Lakhs for the winners.
● There will be two winners in each of the categories – Junior, Senior and Super senior.
The First Prize winner gets an Apple Logic Pro X Music production course Voucher AND
One Music Video Production contract from AUM Studios.
● Second prize winner gets One Music Video contract from AUM.
APPLE MUSIC PRODUCTION COURSE VOUCHERS
The title winners will be receiving an Apple Logic Pro X Music Production course voucher, which they can either learn from AUM Studio Campus or in an online format, free of any payments. However, at the end of the course, they will need to attend a three-day orientation at the Thrissur Studio campus upon which they will be given the Apple certification.
MUSIC VIDEO CONTRACT
● The Music video will be Recorded, Mixed and Mastered at AUM studios and shot at AUM music floor by AUM Music and Video Production Team
● The entire expenses of Audio production and Video shoot will be borne by AUM
● It will be done as a collaboration of Musicians winning the contest
● The Video will be uploaded and promoted from AUM’s official YouTube channel
● For availing the prizes & offers mentioned above, Travel and hospitality of winners and their family members will not be a responsibility of AUM
EXCLUSIONS
● If the winner wants to Invite any guest musician/ performers to collaborate for the Music Album project, their professional charges and related expenses have to be met by the winner doing the project.

● There will not be any public events for the same due to Government restrictions for public distancing
