Stage erected for polls removed after days in M.G.R Nagar

Following a public complaint on Thursday, civic authorities removed an election-related structure that had remained in front of a hardware shop in M.G.R Nagar despite the polls having concluded. Residents had alleged the temporary stage on K.K. Salai was left unattended for weeks. Later in the day, the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) later confirmed that the encroachments had been cleared.
