Yuzvendra Chahal in trouble; Delhi Capitals to tighten Social Media rules for players, families, and support staff
At the same time, another incident involving Yuzvendra Chahal has caused a big controversy. The leg-spinner, who was recently in the news for vaping on a flight, reportedly missed his team’s flight on May 7. He will now travel separately and join the squad in Dharamshala on May 8.
These incidents have reportedly made franchises even more serious about discipline and social media control during the tournament. Interestingly, Delhi Capitals had already given clear instructions to players, support staff, and even family members regarding videos and social media posts.
They have reportedly been allowed to record videos for personal memories inside hotels or team areas, but they should wait until the IPL season ends before uploading anything online.
