The former India captain has scored 379 runs in 11 matches, with a 42.11 average, and has a strike rate of 163.36, and has three half-centuries so far in the season. Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni are still topping the chart

Despite MS Dhoni not being on the field and yet to play a game this season, he is second in the list of most talked-about players. The former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain has not played a single game this season due to a calf strain, but whenever there’s a CSK match, he has been talked about during pre-match shows and before the games as well.

Rohit Sharma has found his form in the IPL. Though he has played just 6 games for the Mumbai Indians (MI), he has scored 243 runs and has an average of 48.60 and a strike rate of 177.37. He has missed out on some games due to a hamstring pull. Despite being in good form, his side have struggled to win matches and sits at the 9th position in the table.

Sanju Samson’s rise continues

Sanju Samson has been in excellent form, as he is the only player to score two centuries in this IPL. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batter, whenever he has scored runs for the franchise this season, the team has gone on to win matches. Sanju has scored 430 runs in the IPL so far and is 7th on the orange cap list.

KL Rahul has showcased a new version of himself playing with a strike rate of 177.98 and has scored 477 runs this season, with a 152-run innings against Punjab Kings (PBKS). He has been listed at the bottom of the most talked-about players in IPL, due to his excellent form and being second on the Orange Cap list.
