Noronha was recently awarded the MA Chidambaram Trophy at the annual Naman Awards, organised by the BCCI, for being the highest run-getter in the 2024-25 Col CK Nayudu Trophy. Noronha was a key part of the Mangaluru Dragons side that lifted the Maharaja Trophy in 2025, scoring 253 runs in ten innings and picking up ten wickets with his offspin. He also represented Karnataka in three T20s during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, scoring 58 runs and managing a wicket.
CSK have struggled with injuries all season, losing Ayush Mhatre, Nathan Ellis and Khaleel Ahmed through the competition. They have also been without MS Dhoni so far in the season, with the former captain down with a calf strain.
CSK are currently fifth on the points table with 12 points in 11 games. Their next fixture is against Lucknow Super Giants [LSG] on Friday.
