Big Boss OTT 3 winner, and model-actress Sana Makbul, was asked to name a cricketer with whom she would like to go out on a date. Without making any delay, Sana named the Team India cricketer and Punjab Kings captain, Shreyas Iyer.
Sana Makbul directly stated that she has cruch on the cricketer. During the conversation with Filmygyan, the winner of the Big Boss OTT 3 champion was asked to pronounce the name of the cricketer she has a crush on.

Sana reveals that she loves cricketers, Shreyas Iyer, a little bit more special for her. She was mesmerized by Shreyas Iyer’s catch. Though Sana has a feeling that a date with Shreyas might never take place.
“Shreyas Iyer. Lately, woh kya catch padka tha. I love cricketers. I would love to go out on a date with Shreyas Iyer if he asks me. I feel he’s somebody I like. I mean, I know him aisa kuch pak nahi sakta,” Sana Makbul said in the interview.
Iyer and Punjab Kings are in deep trouble
It is widely known that Shreyas Iyer is among the most celebrated skippers in the Indian Premier League. However, he and his team, the Punjab Kings, are now standing in a do-or-die situation.
The team, which was only an inch away from making it into the play-offs of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026), is now on the verge of elimination. Their destiny is now heavily dependent on their last group match, which will be on May 23, against the Lucknow Super Giants.
To keep the chances for a play-off spot alive, Punjab Kings must defeat Lucknow tomorrow. Currently, they are in the 5th spot of the 10-team points table with 13 points from as many matches. At one point in the IPL 2026 season, Punjab was on top of the points table as the only undefeated side. Then, they entered into a losing streak, which they are still carrying.
If they continue the poor form against the Lucknow Super Giants as well, then they will have to take the exit gate. It will be a massive blow for the team, as they finished as runners-up in the IPL 2025 campaign.
On an individual basis, Iyer’s overall batting stats are not bad as he has so far scored 397 runs in 12 innings at an average of 44.11 and a strike rate of 162.70, including five half-centuries.
Iyer is named as the vice-captain of Team India for the ODI series vs Afghanistan
After the conclusion of the IPL 2026, the Indian cricket stars will have to start their preparations before facing Afghanistan. Afghanistan will tour India for a one-off Test and an ODI series.
Iyer is selected for the three-match ODI series, which is scheduled to start on June 14 in Dharamsala. The captain of the Punjab Kings is assigned as the vice captain of the Men in Blue brigade for the 3-match One Day International series against the Afghanistan cricket team.
