Sajid Nadiadwala’s O’Romeo is gearing up for a grand release. It is touted to be one of the highly awaited movies of the year. It is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and inspired by true events. O’Romeo stars Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Farida Jalal, Disha Patani, Tamannaah Bhatia and Vikrant Massey. Avinash Tiwary’s look as Jalal in the movie is menacing. His powerful dialogues, intense looks and a never-seen-before avatar has won hearts on social media. Interestingly, O’Romeo also marks the first collaboration between Avinash and Vishal.
Talking about one unexpected piece of advice he received from director Vishal Bhardwaj, he said, “The most unexpected piece of advice would be ‘extreme.’ Make your choices extreme. It started right from the way we thought about how he would look, to the choices that he would make as the person I was playing. So yes, I wasn’t expecting that voice to be extreme.”
Avinash quipped about an intense scene with the matador as well. “I think it was one of the funniest scenes that we have done. There was a lot of prep that was required. I am a matador in the final sequence and there was training that was required to use the weapon that was used by the matadors. I think the scene also needed a lot of power. It needed a lot of vulnerability. There is pain, there is coldness, there is power, there is action, there is an element of extreme pain and vulnerability.”
He further added, “All of that, as a face-off with a beautiful action sequence, needed a lot of prep and also turned out to be a lot of fun. I hope and believe that it would also be able to create a shock value for the audience.”

Avinash Tiwary has also learnt flamenco for O’Romeo. It is going to be interesting to watch him perform this expressive dance form on screen. O’Romeo is releasing in the theatres on February 13, 2026.
