ENG vs IND [WATCH]: Prince Yadav’s pinpoint yorker cleans up Jos Buttler in the third T20I

The bilateral cricket calendar witnessed an absolute powerhouse performance as England clashed with India in the 3rd T20I at Nottingham on July 7, 2026. With both teams fielding dynamic lineups packed with young talent and experienced finishers, Trent Bridge braced itself for a high-octane encounter. However, what was expected to be a nail-biting, close contest quickly turned into a masterclass of absolute dominance by the hosts. Despite a few moments of individual brilliance from the Indian side, England clinical performance across both departments completely took the game away from the visitors, culminating in a massive 125-run victory for the Three Lions.

Prince Yadav produces an inch-perfect yorker to dismiss Jos Buttler in the third T20I

Amidst a tough day on the field for the Men in Blue, young Indian pacer Prince Yadav provided a moment of pure magic that will be replayed for years. England had got off to a flyer, with Jos Buttler and Phil Salt punishing the bowling attack. Desperately searching for a breakthrough in the sixth over, Shreyas Iyer handed the ball to Prince, and the rookie delivered immediately on the very first ball of his spell.

Stepping up to bowl the 5.1 over mark, Prince steamed in and unleashed an absolute rocket. It was a laser-guided, inch-perfect yorker targeted down the leg stump at a sharp pace of 138kph. Buttler, who was batting beautifully on 36 off 21 deliveries, was caught completely off guard. The English skipper desperately tried to jam his bat down in time, but the sheer precision of the delivery gave him no chance. The ball deflected off Buttler’s toes and crashed violently into the leg stump. The stadium erupted as Prince celebrated the ultimate dream wicket for any fast bowler, cutting short a dangerous partnership at 43/1 and showcasing his immense potential on the international stage.

India bite the dust against England in 3rd T20I

While Prince’s spectacular delivery offered a brief glimmer of hope, it was not enough to stop the English juggernaut. Anchored by an aggressive 70 off 44 balls from Salt and a late-innings blitz of 41 from Sam Curran, England comfortably marched to a formidable total of 201/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Prince finished as the pick of the Indian bowlers with respectable figures of 2/30, but the target of 202 was always going to require a monumental chase.

What followed, however, was a catastrophic batting collapse that saw India completely bite the dust. The visitors’ batting line-up crumbled like a house of cards against a relentless English pace attack. Jofra Archer set the tone early, dismantling the top order with a hostile spell of 3/29 to earn the Player of the Match honours. He found the perfect partner-in-crime in Josh Tongue, who ripped through the middle and lower order with a stunning four-wicket haul (4/28).

India’s batters simply had no answers to the extra bounce and movement. No single batter could cross the 15-run mark, as Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ishan Kishan top-scored with just 13 runs each. The entire innings folded in a shocking 11.4 overs, with India bundled out for a mere 76 runs. It was a clinical execution by England on home turf, leaving the Indian team management with plenty of questions to answer ahead of their upcoming assignments.
