Fans troll SRH after humiliating batting collapse against Gujarat Titans in IPL 2026

SRH faced a humiliating defeat against the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium after the home side bundled the visitors out for just 86 runs, winning the game by a massive margin of 82 runs on one of the trickiest wickets in this IPL season.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad have been the most prominent batting lineup of this season. With Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen currently at the top of that Orange Cap leaderboard and Ishan Kishan following them in that top 10 list, a lot is expected from the Men in Orange as a batting unit.

Travis Head was also seen in some promising form this season over the last few games after having made a weak start to the season. However, Head too failed to produce an impact despite being brought into the side as an impact player.

Sai Sudharsan’s and Washington Sundar’s half-centuries guided GT to a promising total

Sunrisers started off the powerplay with some stellar shows with the ball. Praful Hinge once again handed two massive breakthroughs in the powerplay as he dismissed two of the three dangerous batters in that GT top order.

With Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler back in the hut, Sai Sudharsan had to play a risk-free game in order to secure the innings while keeping the scoreboard ticking. Sudharsan scored a half-century and added runs in a major run-fest alongside Washington Sundar.

Later, Washington Sundar, who also scored some runs towards the back end, reached his second IPL fifty and contributed handsomely with the bat. With those two half-centuries, the Titans posted a target of 169 runs before the GT pacers went on a rampage.

Pat Cummins left humiliated after GT pacers hunt down SRH for a score less than 100

The Pat Cummins-led SRH side struggled with the bat as they were bowled out for just 86 runs and lost the match by a massive margin of 82 runs. The Gujarat Titans are at the top of their points table with a massive surge in their net run rate as well.

With Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Heinrich Klaasen, and Ishan Kishan all falling for single- and double-digit scores, the Sunrisers innings sank under dominance from Kagiso Rabada and Jason Holder.

Mohammed Siraj bowled economically in the powerplay, and Kagiso Rabada kept picking those crucial wickets in the powerplay. Jason Holder was once again outstanding in the middle overs as he dismissed the likes of Heinrich Klaasen, Nitish Kumar Reddy, and Shivang Kumar in no time.

SRH collapsed in their innings with just 86 runs on the board, and Pat Cummins, the skipper, remained the highest scorer with 19 runs off just 9 balls before being dismissed by Prasidh Krishna’s bowling.
