Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor play the film’s primary characters, with Hrithik Roshan appearing in a special cameo as Kabir.

Action thriller film Alpha released on 3 July 2026.

The story follows Sita, an elite assassin created through Project Alpha, who discovers her past and turns against the man who raised and trained her.

Alpha movie is directed by Shiv Rawail, who brings the female-led chapter into the YRF Spy Universe.

Sharvari plays Durga, who gradually joins Sita’s mission after learning the truth behind their shared past.

The film combines stylised action with family conflict, emotional revelations and the larger backdrop of Project Alpha.

Most reviews appreciate the performance, action and visuals but point to uneven writing, weak emotional depth and an inconsistent second half.

Alpha will be released on August 28, 2026, post-theatrically on Netflix.
